Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Wealthpadi (the “Service”), a personal-finance app operated by Wealthpadi (“Wealthpadi”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Wealthpadi is

Wealthpadi helps you track income and spending, set savings goals, build budgets, record debts, loans and investments, view your net worth, and chat with Maya, an AI assistant. Wealthpadi is a software tool for organising your own financial information. We are not a bank, broker, lender, or licensed financial institution, and we do not hold, move, or invest your money.

2. Not financial, investment, tax or legal advice

The Service — including anything Maya says, any projection, figure, or suggestion — is provided for general informational purposes only and is not financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and is not a recommendation to buy or sell any security or product. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. Consider your own circumstances and, where appropriate, seek a licensed professional before acting. Any figures, prices, or rates shown may be estimated, delayed, or inaccurate.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

4. Your account

• You may sign up with an email and password or with your Google account.
• Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• Tell us promptly at admin@wealthpadi.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful;
• attempt to access other users’ data or accounts;
• reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
• upload malicious code or misuse the AI features to generate abusive or illegal content.

6. Your data

You own the financial information you enter. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to operate and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can edit or delete your data, or request account deletion, at any time.

7. AI features (Maya)

Maya is powered by third-party AI models and may produce responses that are incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. To answer you, a snapshot of your financial data and your chat messages are sent to those providers. Always verify important information before relying on it. Maya does not execute transactions with third parties; when you log something via chat, it is only saved after you confirm it in the app.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (for example, database and authentication hosting, AI model providers, market-data and search providers, and push-notification services). We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

9. Availability & changes

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and may be actively developed. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wealthpadi disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any financial, investment, or business decisions you make based on the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above, and where appropriate we will notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
